Cadillac EVs Get New Black and White Version of Classic Logo

Over the past 2 years, many automakers have redesigned their iconic logos and Cadillac has joined the trend.
Many brands are opting for a more minimalist style for their logos and Cadillac is joining the party with a transition to a new monochromatic version of its logo for its upcoming vehicles.
The new black and white version of the logo was first seen when Cadillac revealed the LYRIQ SUV as a concept vehicle in 2020. Now the monochromatic version of the Cadillac badge has appeared on the official website and social media platforms.
A Cadillac spokesperson told Car and Driver that “as Cadillac begins its next chapter to an all-electric future” with the LYRIQ, Cadillac is “refreshing our brand look and feel” with “a bold and modern interpretation of the Cadillac crest.” The spokesperson also said that while the monochromatic crest will become more common, “Cadillac will continue to use the current crest as well.”
With the reveal of the LYRIQ, Cadillac will not be releasing any more new gas-powered models in North America implying that the color crest will continue on the CT4, CT5, XT4, XT5, XT6, and Escalade until their electric successors arrive.
The EV comes standard with 20-inch wheels, and an available Satin Steel Metallic or Stellar Black Metallic exterior paint color. LED lighting can be found all around the vehicle along with digital key technology, and a large 33-inch LED display across the dashboard. More available features include Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving system and a 19-speaker AKG Studio system.
